This enormous 1 gallon jug measures 13” in height and once contained Phenobarbital - a prescription used as a sedative. This bottle also contained alcohol (12-15%). During the early to mid 1900s this drug was commonly misused and overly dosed. This amber bottle is empty and contains no contents.
