Cleared and stained snake specimen having undergone the process known as “Diaphonization”. Suspended in glycerin and housed in a 8.5oz glass poison style jar. Diaphonization is the process of clearing and staining small vertebrate specimens for anatomical study. Due to the complex nature of the chemical process, slight variations in preparing the dyes can create beautiful colorations ranging from brilliantly contrasted specimens to softly pigmented displays. All biological specimens are ethically sourced and cruelty free.
