This vintage giant 11.5” lobster claw is testament just how enormous the crustaceans actually are! With a record weight of 40lbs, lobsters are known to grow to extreme sizes when left to their own devices, once seen as “immortal” it was believed that the lobster would not naturally perish, only ending its lifespan upon outside force.
This specimen displays with natural deformity as seen pictured in the small hole tunneled through the claw tip, and a post-death crack along the base.
