This 19th century European crucifix is commonly referred to as a “pectoral cross” and was once worn by clergy members. These increasingly rare religious antiquities were most commonly crafted in Italy, France and Germany, and showcased detailed Corpus and metal metalwork surrounding a wooden center.

This piece measures 4” from top of loop to bottom of cross.Displays with a corpus only.
